Artur
macOS app for Portuguese freelancers who want a clear picture of what they can actually spend. Automatically separates VAT and Social Security so tax money is not mixed with yours, and brings clients, invoices, Social Security sync, and payment tracking into one place.
Overview
Freelancing in Portugal means keeping two moving targets under control at the same time: VAT and Social Security. Most freelancers have a rough sense of what they should set aside, but that shortcut stops working once revenue increases, invoices stack up, or payments land at irregular times.
Artur is a macOS app that tracks your work and keeps a precise split of every euro you receive. As soon as a payment comes in, it separates what should be reserved for VAT and Social Security so the money that looks available is actually safe to spend.
I built invoicing, client management, and Social Security sync on top of that foundation, including automatic updates for Social Security references and payments inside the app. The result is a single workflow for independent work in Portugal: follow invoices, confirm payments, and always know what is really yours.
