I have always found that the most memorable feedback is the kind that makes you laugh while it stings a little. Roast Your GitHub started as a weekend experiment: could I make developer profile roasts feel personal instead of random or generic?
The tool fetches public GitHub data — repos, commit history, language stats, activity patterns — and runs it through a set of built-in rules that shape the roast based on how that person actually contributes. No login required, just paste a username.
It spread mostly through word of mouth and social sharing. Developers love sending their own roast to colleagues.
